Unsolved Crimes
| 4/17/2011 - Knowingly Burning: Case 11-3482 | During the early morning hour of 1:59 a.m. of April 17, 2011, a vehicle (1994 GMC Safari Van) was observed to be on fire by police. The vehicle was parked on the parking lot of an adjacent stripe retail plaza to the residence. (on Washington Street) Upon the fire being extinguished by fire department, it was discovered that person or persons placed a rag into the gas tank inlet and lit the rag on fire. This is the second suspicious fire incident in the general area since April 7. Police are seeking information that would lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.

| | 4/7/2011 - Arson 1st Degree: Case 11-3110 | | On the morning of April 7, 2011 at 4:06 AM, police responded to Lindenwood University, Cobb’s Hall Dorm, for a fire in the hallway. The fire was contained to a padded chair in the lobby of the dorm. Minor damage occurred to the wall. The fire had been extinguished prior to police and fire arrival. Evidence suggested the fire had been intentionally set.

| | 11/12/2010 - Fatal Hit and Run: Case 10-010403 | On 11/12/2010 at approx. 10:47pm a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Veteran`s Memorial Parkway (east of Zumbehl Rd and West of Regency). The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2001-2005 Chevrolet Venture or Oldsmoblie minivan. The following damage was believed to be found on the suspect vehicle:
- Damage to the front bumper cover
- Missing driver-side, outside rearview mirror
- Damage/missing plastic pieces to the driver-side front inner wheel well area
- Probable windshield damage
- Probable damage to the driver-side door and front fender
- Driver-side headlamp assembly is damaged/missing
